My start

I'm an aspiring Cat 2 road racer and a competitive gravel racer. My journey into sports started at a young age in the world of competitive ballet, where I learned discipline and dedication that has carried into my other athletic pursuits. In my early twenties, I purchased my first road bike for a charity ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles. Training for this event ignited my passion for pushing my cycling limits and desire to race, but I had a fear of pack riding. Overcoming this fear became a personal challenge. To fuel my competitive spirit, I turned to triathlon, racing at a competitive amateur level. However, my interest in pure bike racing and the team aspect of the sport persisted. Upon moving to Boulder, CO, I immersed myself in the local cycling community, seeking mentors and coaches to help me conquer my fear of racing, a gift I aim to pay forward.

Where i'm headed

My aspiration is to be a role model for women and girls in the sport, proving that age is not a barrier to chasing dreams with dedication and hard work. I want to be an example that it's never too late to pursue one's passions. This year, I tested my training and skills in competitive events like the Tucson Bicycle Classic, Tour of the Gila, Green Mountain Stage Race, and the competitive Colorado race scene. In the upcoming year, I hope to find a team where I can grow individually and as a teammate, honing the art of race strategy and inspire others to race bikes.
